The primary aim of this combined EMAS Workshop / IUMAS Meeting is to
assess the state of the art and reliability of microbeam analysis techniques.
The main topics of this, the 15th EMAS European Workshop, are: Pushing
the Limits - EPMA; Modelling; Detector Technologies; Surface
Characterisation; Cathodoluminescence; Pushing the Limits - General.
Time will also be devoted to problem orientated applications in material science,
geological science, environmental studies, astrophysics, microelectronics,
forensics, cultural heritage and archaeology, nanomaterials, surfaces and
interfaces, catalysts, sensors, …
